We limit the number of bikes we transport at any one time and by not overloading the van, we ensure that your motorbike arrives safely and unblemished.


We use only dedicated, professional equipment such as heavy duty ramps, soft tie-down straps and wheel chocks.

  • What is motorcycle delivery?

    Motorcycle delivery is service whereby a motorbike is collected, transported and delivered to your choice of destination.

    It is typically offered to private individuals who have bought a bike either privately or from a trader some distance away, and it is more convenient to have the bike collected and  delivered rather than picking it up.

    Motorcycle transport and delivery is also a service regularly used by the trade, such as motorcycle delares, who may have sold a motorbike to a customer, and now need to have it delivered to their door.

    Finally, MCT Transport also has contracts with motorcycle manufacturers in Europe to collect new bikes and deliver them to their delaers in the UK and Ireland.

  • How to get a motorcycle delivered?

    The best and most reliable way to have a motorcycle transported or delivered, is to call a specialist transport company with a proven track record. 

    You can, of course, browse websites such as Shiply or  Anyvan but you may not know too much about the person or company transporting your motorcycle, nor might they be dedicated specialists so your motorbike could get damaged in transit.

  • How much is motorcycle delivery?

    The cost of delivering a motorcycle is very much dependent on the distance it has to travel, how soon you need ti moved and if there are any additional costs involved such a s import duties etc.

    Typically, the cost of moving a motorcycle can be from £50 to £800, depending on the size of the bike, the time frame and the distance. 

    If you are not in a terrible hurry, a better price can usually be offered if the transport can be combined with another trip, but usually the company will need 7-10 days notice.

  • How to ship a motorcycle?

    You have a number of options available when thinking about transporting your bike over a large distance.

    • The first is to have your bike transported on an open trailer.  After all,  motorbikes can be delivered by any vehicle capable of towing the right trailer. The disadvantage of this service is that the bike is very exposed during the transport and if the distance demands an overnight stop, your bike can be at risk of damage or theft.
    • A much beter way is to transport a motorcycle in an enclosed, dedicated van. MCT's specially modified Sprinter vans come with all the necessary equiment and safety gear to transport your bike safely and securely, whether it is just arund the corner or to the furthest reaches of Europe.
